Based in Hauconcourt, our subsidiary SPECILOR has 130 employees and a fleet of around 100 motor vehicles. We transport gas in tankers and packaged goods, general cargo in tarpaulins, waste, platforms and abnormal loads, public works tippers and bulk and packaged chemicals.

SPECILOR is recruiting an Operator on a permanent contract to replace an employee.

Your role

If you're looking for an operational position at the heart of the transport organisation and have a strong collaborative spirit, this is the opportunity for you!

As part of your role as Transport Operator for the "flatbed" activity, you will be responsible for the operation of around fifteen drivers. Your main tasks will be as follows:

Manage the transport entrusted to us by our customers
Seek returns to optimise the profitability of the business
Organising drivers' activities
Managing day-to-day contingencies
Monitor the vehicle fleet in collaboration with the workshop
Monitor transport files and forward them to the billing department
Preventing, recording and reporting quality-related problems
Working with other operators to share resources

You organise transport operations with a view to ensuring the profitability of our activities, customer satisfaction and compliance with European social regulations.

You will be working in a dynamic environment on a human scale.

Profile required

You have a transport background and at least 2 years' experience in a similar position.

You are perfectly at ease with IT and telephone tools and have a good knowledge of abnormal load transport, hazardous materials and the associated regulatory constraints.

For this position, which involves constant contact with customers, the workshop and our team of truck drivers, we're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who can adapt quickly and react quickly.
