Maintaining this fleet is therefore at the heart of our concerns, so that we can keep it in perfect working order and react quickly in the event of a breakdown to ensure continuity of service for our customers.<\/p>\n<p>BRUN INVEST has chosen to have integrated workshops in most of its transport subsidiaries. This is because we want to :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>control maintenance costs,<\/li>\n<li>Define preventive maintenance schedules based on product campaigns (small LPG and fuel oil rigids are serviced in the summer so that they are ready for the winter).<\/li>\n<li>Carry out maintenance prior to periodic inspections.<\/li>\n<li>Technological independence on specific equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each workshop has a manager and workshop technicians:<\/p>\n<p>Their tasks are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out systematic maintenance operations<\/li>\n<li>Carry out routine repairs in accordance with a repair order<\/li>\n<li>Carry out electrical and mechanical diagnostics<\/li>\n<li>Preparing for periodic inspections<\/li>\n<li>Manage purchase orders and repair orders for invoicing and administrative follow-up<\/li>\n<li>Applying maintenance instructions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More specifically, they are responsible for :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Station operations (emptying, filter levels)<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting<\/li>\n<li>Applying control and safety instructions<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out inspection visits and associated reports<\/li>\n<li>Welding, production of parts and tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our workshops have evolved considerably in recent years, and our mechanics undergo a wide range of training courses.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a vehicle manufacturer, we are approved by them and can manage problems directly linked to the mechanics, as well as technological problems via communication software with the machines.<\/li>\n<li>Tyre manufacturer, for tyre maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Some workshops have additional skills and approvals for the repair of mass and volumetric meters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Like all workstations at Brun, these are taken into account in our QHSSE actions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>With the installation of secure pits<\/li>\n<li>With waste sorting<\/li>\n<li>Wearing PPE for certain repairs<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with specific procedures for each regulated operation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We tend to forget that the workshops are an essential link in the logistics chain (driver; operations; management; monitors; management services), and their role is to ensure the availability of means of transport.<\/p>\n<p>You will also receive a questionnaire on the workshops and maintenance of your fleets.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a specialised transport operator, our business requires the use of increasingly complex technical resources.<\/p>\n<p>The fleet now has 1,800 registrations, all of which, with a few exceptions, are owned.
