Based in Martigues, France, S.A.L.T. specialises in tanker transport and distribution of chemicals, air gases, LPG, LNG and bitumen. S.A.L.T. employs 75 people and has a fleet of 150 motor vehicles and 200 trailers.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, S.A.L.T. is recruiting a Truck Mechanic on a permanent contract.
Your role

As part of your duties as a HGV Mechanic, you will be required to :
- Diagnose, maintain, adjust and replace parts on our HGV vehicles (engines and trailers)
- Fitting specific accessories and equipment
- Carry out maintenance and repair work on electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, etc.
- Check that the vehicle is in good working order after servicing
- Completing vehicle maintenance records.
You will be trained in the particularities of hazardous materials and will be able to take advantage of additional technical training from our manufacturers and equipment suppliers, enabling you to operate all our equipment in complete safety and autonomy.
Profile required
With initial training in Mechanics, you have at least 1 year's experience in HGV, Coach, Agricultural, Public Works or Automotive Mechanics.
