Based in Martigues, the S.A.L.T. subsidiary specialises in tanker transport and the distribution of chemicals, air gases, LPG, LNG and bitumen. Its fleet comprises 150 motor vehicles and 200 trailer vehicles.
S.A.L.T. has 75 employees and is looking for a HGV Workshop Manager.
Your role
As Workshop Manager, you will manage our team of mechanics and organise vehicle maintenance operations. You will be responsible for :
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines, technical inspections and current internal procedures,
- Participating in maintenance operations and detecting technical faults on vehicles and equipment,
- Purchasing spare parts and managing stocks,
- Ensuring that safety, health and environmental protection instructions are applied,
- Contributing to the achievement of QHSSE objectives and complying with the Company's ethical principles.
You will be trained in the particularities of hazardous materials and will be able to take advantage of additional technical training from our manufacturers and equipment suppliers, enabling you to operate all our equipment in complete safety and autonomy.
Profile required
With an initial training in HGV mechanics, you have recognised experience in a similar position that has made you autonomous in the day-to-day management of a workshop. You are comfortable using IT tools and ideally have a good command of GPI software. You have some initial experience or awareness of hazardous materials.
Your managerial skills, responsiveness, organisation and rigour are your main assets.
You will develop a strong team spirit and initiative within the team.
