BRUN SAS specialises in tanker transport and distribution of chemicals, air gases and bulk products in tippers.

Based in Eybens (38), the company is looking for an Instructor-Trainer on a permanent contract.

Your role

Your tasks will be as follows:

  • Participate in recruiting, integrating and validating new drivers in collaboration with Management
  • In-house training for HGV drivers on regulations, internal instructions and customer specifications
  • Providing preventive and economical driving training
  • Providing Customer Authorisation training
  • Manage and plan regulatory and customer training for drivers in consultation with the administrative training manager
  • Monitor and analyse fuel consumption and driver offences and report any anomalies to Management
  • Supporting drivers, in particular following the detection of an "anomaly" by operations
  • Carrying out breathalyser/drug tests
  • Carrying out follow-up audits and unannounced checks on drivers
  • Monitor compliance with internal instructions and customer and regulatory requirements in the field
  • Identify non-conformities and risk situations, report them to Management and take part in correcting or resolving them
  • PPE management

Occasionally, if necessary, you may be asked to take on operational driving duties.

This position involves some travel.

Profile required

You have been a transport trainer/instructor for several years, have an EC driving licence and your FCO is up to date.

Knowledge of one or more hazardous materials activities is highly desirable.

A good communicator and teacher, you have a sound knowledge of the professional environment in which you have worked, and are keen to pass this on to your drivers.

Your organisation, rigour and sense of responsibility are your main assets.
