Based in Vieux-Thann, BLONDEL specialises in tanker transport and the distribution of chemicals, air gases, LPG and fuels. BLONDEL has 160 employees and a fleet of 170 motor vehicles and 180 trailers.

Your role

If you're looking for an operational position at the heart of the transport organisation and have a strong collaborative spirit, this is the opportunity for you!

As a Transport Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of our Chemicals business. Your main tasks will be to :

Manage the transport entrusted to us by our customers,
Organising the activities of truck drivers,
Monitor the vehicle fleet (appointments and deadlines) in close collaboration with the workshop,
Preventing, recording and dealing with quality-related problems in support of the Quality Manager,
Pre-invoicing for services provided.

You organise transport operations with the threefold aim of making our business profitable, satisfying our customers and complying with social and professional regulations.

You will be working in a dynamic environment on a human scale.

Profile required

With at least two years' training in transport management (BTS in Transport Management and Associated Logistics), you are familiar with the technical aspects of the job in relation to the products transported and the use of equipment.

You have at least 2 years' experience in a similar position. You are comfortable using IT and telephone tools.

For this position, which involves constant contact with customers, the workshop and our team of truck drivers, we're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who can adapt quickly and react quickly.

You speak fluent German or English.
