Wood pellets are a clean energy source. Made from sawdust and wood shavings recovered from sawmills, dehydrated and then compressed into small cylinders without any chemical additives, pellets are a fuel with very high energy performance.
With this in mind, the Brun Group is taking part in the energy transition and diversifying its activities and customers by transporting pellets.
The pellets are delivered in pallets, bigbags or in bulk to storage facilities equipped with augers. The Brun Group is also involved in bulk distribution, using trailers with pressurisable tanks and on-board weighing with a commercial transaction.
Unloading requires a great deal of attention on the part of the operator, who operates the pressure and depressurisation levers to control the unloading speed in order to unload the pellets without compromising their quality.
As far as pallets are concerned, our 19T and 26T rigids are equipped with T23s and pallet pullers to deliver pallets as close as possible to the end consumer.
The Brun Group also offers storage sites, managed and supplied by our drivers.
